Mark Westman, MA. 

Senior Counsellor/Psychotherapist

​

Mark Westman is a devoted husband and father of three wonderful children. Naturally curious, he is dedicated to continuing self-growth and the growth of his clients.

 

Mark has a Masters of Arts in Counselling from Providence Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Arts in Counselling from Briercrest College, and is a member of PACCC – the Professional Association of Canadian Christian Counsellors. Mark specializes in couples therapy, anger management, and premarital counselling. When appropriate and invited, he enjoys helping people use their spiritual resources and beliefs in support of their growth.

 

Mark is trained in and a facilitator of Couples Communication 1, has been adjunct faculty at Providence College, and is a practioner of solution-focused therapy. He has a particular interest in the relationship issues that people bring to therapy. 

 

Mark enjoys helping clients find the motivation to change and provide a safe and supportive place to do so. Using a solution focused and choice-based approach, Mark’s concern for his clients growth and wholeness encompasses their entire person; the physical, mental health, emotional, intellectual and spiritual realms of life.

Couple's Intensive

Sometimes an hour just isn’t enough. Our “intensive” sessions offer extended time—starting at 3 hours and up to 1–3 days—ideal for deeper work or complex issues like couples or family therapy.
